SPRING FEATURED PROJECT:
The rendering below shows the prospective community garden on the north side of Bloomington, IN. The site is located in a typical suburban neighborhood on a lot that was never developed.

This plan of Rosewood Garden shows the site having the potential to house ten garden plots, each measuring 20ft x 20ft. There is also room for a composting area, water collection, and a small greenhouse.

This perspective view of Rosewood garden shows the potential layout including the greenhouse, shed, 10 garden plots, and signage.
SUMMER FEATURED PROJECT:
Below is a recently completed project for a neighbor. She uses a wheelchair for mobility and wanted a planter garden designed specifically for photography. The resulting design is a planter in which she grows flowers and various types of tomatoes and can take fantastic photos on her own level. She truly enjoys the access to her plants in the 4'x4', 24 inch tall planter!

PLAN VIEW:
The planter and patio walk is at the end of her driveway and allowed the client to access an area of her property she would otherwise not be able to properly utilize.
The substrate (soil mixture) consists of a bottom layer of 6" river rock, soil excavated from the site, and on the uppermost layer a mixture of organic compost and garden soil. |
